Mizuno Pro 245 Irons (4-PW)
Mizuno Pro 245 Irons (4-PW)
The foundation of the Mizuno Pro 24 irons is a unique, long-standing connection between Mizuno's club engineers and its Grain Flow Forging plant in Hiroshima, Japan. A relationship which enables increasingly sophisticated designs to be crafted flawlessly into finished equipment. Where every fraction of a millimetre and subtle curve matters.
The Mizuno Pro 245 is measurably quicker again from the face than the Mizuno Pro 243 but also easier to launch – due to a complex hollow body construction and internally suspended Tungsten weight. Packed into a staggeringly sleek chassis, the Mizuno Pro 245 showcases more than any model how rapidly Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged process has evolved.
Utilising a hollow body GFF 4135 Chromoly face and neck, the multi-thickness face configuration and laser welded 431 stainless steel back combines to greatly elevate both ball speed and launch. Key to this is internal tungsten weighting, with a 46g suspended weight serving to enable sole flex, for greater kinetic energy transfer.
The soft copper underlay underneath nickel chrome generates a sensational, soft feel on each strike, with harmonic vibration patters reminiscent of a soft, muscle-back. Increased bounce angles elevate turf interaction, for consistent, crisp strikes from a variety of lies.
The traditional blade appearance will greatly appeal to many golfers, bringing together classic visuals with modern tour level performance.
